Funeral serives for Travis J. Garner, 68, were May 11, 1874 in the Smith Funeral Home chapel in Grandview with Henry Walker and Rex Brown of the Church of Christ of Kennewick officiating.

Mr. Garner died May 9 at Prosser Memorial Hospital. He was born and reared at Amity, Arkansas. He and Miss Fleta Fay Sheets were married at Hugo, Okalahoma in 1928 and lived in Oklahoma until they moved to Whitstran in 1952.

He worked for General Electric until he retired in 1963, living with his family in Benton City and Kennewick and moving back to Whitstran last December.

He was a longtime member of the Church of Christ.

Mr. Garner is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fleta Garner of Prosser; four daughters, Mrs.Errett Grant and Miss Barbara Garner, both of Prosser. Mrs. Leona McCracken and Mrs. Wilma Jones, both of Richland; a son Howard of Renton; 16 grandchildren; two great–grandchildren and a brother, G.G. Garner of Midland, Texas.

Burial was in the Desert Lawn Cemetery of Kennewick.
