Mrs. Mamie Plunkett Lee, 79, of Shreveport died Oct. 18 in Willis Knighten Hospital following a long illness. Mrs. lee is a former resident of Castor. Services were held Oct. 21 in Ebenezer Baptist Church. Officiating ministers were the Rev. Hugh Fuller and the Rev. Al Jolley of Shreveport. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home. Survivors are three sons: Sidney Lee of Oakland, Calif., Prentiss Lee of Pueblo, Colo., and Harold G. Lee of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Mrs. Florence O'Neal of Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Minnie Bell of Shreveport; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
