He graduated from Lapel High School. He retired as a Photographer for the Indiana State Police after 22 years of service. He also retired from International Harvester. He worked in the Loss Prevention Dept. at Macy's. He was currently serving on the board of the Pioneers of the Indiana State Police and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Bill enjoyed fishing, camping and fixing things and was an avid IU fan but most of all, he loved his family.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife of 52 years, Leda, his daughters, Vicki Edwards, Debbie Reagan, Diane Limbach, Lisa Wood, Rhonda Kottlowski and Jamie Rankin. He is also survived by his brother, Larry Scott, his twin sister, Judy Sheets, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
