OBITUARY
A Mass for Richard L. Hunter, 88, of Lavallette will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow in St. Catherine's Church, Hillside, after the funeral from the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union.
Mr. Hunter, who died Monday at home, was the ground safety director at McGuire Air Force Base in Wrightstown for more than 20 years before retiring in 1978.
Mr. Hunter served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Born in Elizabeth, he lived in Willingboro before moving to Lavallette in 1978. Surviving are a son, Richard P.; a daughter, Susan A. Schirmer; a brother, Robert; a sister, Ann Sake; three grandchildren and a great- grandchild.
He Married Doris Arline Williams.
He is the son of Richard James Hunter and Kathryn Hart HUnter.
