It may be that she was buried there before the town was officially settled or she may have been buried somewhere else. Her husband is buried here..
If she died in CT, as it says, she is most likely buried there too! NOT in Vermont.
"If" there is a marker there in Vermont, 10 to 1 says it is a cenotaph, with NO body under it.
