Pelagia BINIEWSKI (nee ROGULSKI) of Lake Shore Rd., Hamburg; beloved wife of the late John BINIEWSKI; devoted mother of Mrs. Raymond (Jean R.) WOODS, (*living son and his wife, names deleted*), Peter (*R*) BINIEWSKI and Mrs. John (Valeria) SIM; also survived by 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; daughter of the late Marion and Waleria ROGULSLKI; sister of the late Peter ROGULSKI, Joseph SZULGIT and Anne ROGULSKA, Carl ROGULSKI and Marion ROGULSKI all of Poland; aunt of Dr. Hentry HUBER; also survived by nieces and nephews. Services from Colonial Memorial CHapels, Inc., Lackawanna and from St. Michael the Archangel Church. Pelagia, daughter of Marion ROGULSKI and Waleria REWERS of Brdow Poland, immigrated to the U.S. about 1911 and became a naturalized citizen in 1942. She married John BINIEWSKI 4-Jan-1917 at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church in Buffalo NY. They were married 52 years and had 4 children. Pelagia owned a grocery store on Bailey Ave for many years. They retired to Arizonia. (Published in Hamburg Photo News, Dec 1970; from Old Fulton NY Postcard website)
