JOHN BINIEWSKI
Funeral services will be held this morning for John BINIIEWSKI, retired post office employee and former area businessman, who died Wednesday in Phoenix (Ariz.) Emergency Hospital at the age of 76.
The services will be at 8:45 a.m. at Colonial Memorial Chapel, 3003 South Park Ave., Lackawanna, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Church, 5271 Clinton St., Elma. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Ridge Rd., Cheektowaga.
Mr. BINIEWSKI, who went to Arizonia for health reasons six years ago, retied in 1956 after 28 years in the Post office's motor vehicle branch. He operated a grocery at 1175 Bailey Ave., East Lovejoy, from 1921 to 1950, and for nine years, beginning in 1946, was in a home-building partnership with Feliz SZULGIT of 42 Allen St., Blasdell.
He was an extensive land owner in the Hamburg area and operated apartments there.
Among survivors in this area are his wife, the former Pearl (sic) ROGULSKI, of St. John's Pl., Lackawanna; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond WOODS of Wanakah and Mrs. John SIM of Lackawanna; two sons, (living, name deleted*)of Hamburg and Peter of West Seneca; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
