E. Lindholm Dies; Rites on Monday; Funeral services for Edward L. Lindholm, 83 of Galva, whose death occurred Friday, were held Monday afternoon at the Johnson- Gill Schuster Chapel. Rev. Richard Brownfield, pastor of First Methodist church officiated. Internment was in Pleasant View Cemetery in Kewanee. Bearers were Dale Smith, Donald Falk, Henry Rosander, John Barlow, Walter Annis and Vernon Nordstrom.
Mr. Lindholm's death occurred at the Wasson Nursing Home where he had been a patient for the past four and one half years. He had been in failing health for the past several years.
He was born on a farm south of Bishop Hill, on May 8, 1880, a son of Charles and Augusta Lindholm and educated in the rural schools. His life had been spent in the Bishop Hill and Galva communities and he had followed the occupation of farm laborer most of his life. He also worked at the John H. Best & Company and at the Lily Tulip Cup Corp. of Galva.
He was married to Lena Siegman on August 31, 1910, and she preceded him in death April 27, 1913.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Stanley (Vera) Cowley, Kewanee; a sister Mrs. Josie St. John, Chadson, Nebraska; and one brother Justus Lindholm, of Galva
