Mary Hinkle grew up on Indian Creek, Tn, and moved to Izard (now Stone) Co Ar in 1845 with her parents. She brought with her a daughter Elsura Hinkle b. 24 Dec. 1821, who lived with Mary and her Hinkle grandparents on Rocky Bayou, east of Mn. View. (Elsura married Sion T. "Sipe" MARTIN and they had a daughter, Frances E. Martin b: 1860.)
