Thomas Abbott Larsen, 88, died in his home June 26, 2013. Thomas was born February 17, 1925 in Oregon to Carrie and Carl Larsen. He attended Olympia High School and in 1942 during WWII he joined the Navy. He was honorably discharged in 1950 and worked as a construction superintendent for F.E. Young, J.D. Dutton, Inc., and W.E. O'Neill until retiring in July of 1990. He spent his retirement years traveling with his wife Judy. He loved to dance, sing, and make people laugh. He enjoyed meeting people wherever he went and loved his many pets. He is survived by his wife Judy, one son, three daughters, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Mark Abbott Larsen in May 2011. Formal services will not be held. His final resting place will be in the Veterans Wall in Tahoma.
