He is survived by his wife, Dixie Comer Snider of Marion; one son, John T. Snider, Jr. of Marion; three daughters, Mrs. Hilda Weatherly of Bristol, Mrs. Gloria Adamson of Baltimore, Md. and Mrs. Jean Parks of Winston-Salem, N.C.; one brother, Richard Snider of Marion; two sisters, Elsie Sanders of Saltville and Louise Fortner of Beckley, W.Va.; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Harry Howe officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Seaver-Brown Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
