Mrs. Elsie L Snyder to Be Buried Today
Native of Whitingham, Vt., Died Late Friday Night at Daughter's Home
North Adams, March 1 - The funeral of Mrs. Elsie L (Dix) Snyder, 80, who died late Friday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Frank J Bowman of 33 Bracewell avenue, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 at the First Universalist church, Rev Pliny A Allen, Jr, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Hillside cemetery.
Mrs. Snyder was born at Whitingham, Vt, the daughter of Wilbury and Sarah Anne Bliss Dix. She came to this city 60 years ago when she married Mr Truman Snyder, a business man, who died nearly 30 years ago. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Worden of Brattleboro, Vt., and Mrs. Bowman, at whose home she died; a son, Mark W Snyder of this city, and five stepchildren, Mrs. Ora Brooks, Mrs. Blanche Ripley and Willis B Snyder of this city; Mrs. Fannie Phillips of Greenfield and George Snyder of Manchester, NH.
