Tony Michael Watcher, 45, husband of Elizabeth Johnson Watcher, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at home.

Born in Saitama Kem, Japan, he was a son of Pete Watcher and "Betty" Uller Watcher.

He was a member of Alice Drive Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Sumter High School and The Citadel Class of 1982. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a former Little League Baseball Coach and was the sales manager of Filter Sales and Service.

Surviving are his wife of Sumter; his parents of Sumter; four sons, Andrew Watcher, Joseph Watcher, Philip Watcher and Jacob Watcher, all of Sumter; a daughter, Katey Watcher of Sumter; two brothers, Mike Watcher of Sumter and Rob Watcherof Louisiana; three sisters, Mary Swain of Greenville, Ann Blum of Charlotte, N.C., and Amy Manweiler of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Alice Drive Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Clay Smith and the Rev. Tommy Comer officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scott Micklon, Tom Devine, Doug Odom, Dr. David Lovice, Bill Delavan, Richie LaRossa, Tom Johnson and Andy Altizer.
