Death Takes Wallace Man
Irving F Hill, prominent farmer of the Wallace section, passed away in a local
hospital yesterday following a long illness. He was born and reared and spend
his life on the same farm. He was well known throughout the Mother Lode country.
He was 75 years of age.

The deceased is survived by a nephew, James Ledbetter of Lodi. Two of his
closest friends are Mr. and Mrs. G.B. Podesto of Wallace.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the chapel of
Hale & Bawden. Interment will be on the ranch near Wallace, where he will be
laid beside the body of his mother. Mrs. Euphemia A. Hill one of California's pioneers.

He was originally buried in Hill Cemetery, Comanche,California but was later re-interred in Lodi Cemetery. I beleive due to the fact that the cemetery being now under Lake Camanche
