VIDALIA -- Rebecca Harrington Horne, 72, of Vidalia died Friday, June 17, 2005, at her residence.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at St. Paul AME Church in Vidalia with the Rev. H.A. Gregory officiating. Burial followed at Poplar Spring Cemetery in Vidalia.
Born Dec. 19, 1933, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Horne was the daughter of the late Edward Harrington and the late Laura Harrington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Horne; and two brothers, Edward Harrington Jr. and Joe P. Harrington.
Survivors include a brother, Walter J. Harrington of Moultrie; three sisters, Mozelle H. Harper and husband Willie B. of Moultrie, Juanita H. Johnson of Coco, Fla., and Mildred H. Dennis of LaGrange; and other family members and friends.
Vidalia Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
