Anita Lewis Jeffery of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, July 12, 2013 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Anita was born June 21, 1936 to Daryl Hart Lewis and Stella Mae (Stephenson) Lewis in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Anita was 77 years, 0 months and 21 days old.

Anita was a member of Waldron First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed sharing her love for the Lord. She was a spiritual woman and it showed in every aspect of her life. As a young woman in the 11th grade, Anita married the love of her life, Charles Jeffery on December 21, 1953. Together they had four children. Later, getting to enjoy the pleasure of being grandparents. The grandchildren were most precious to Anita's heart. She loved and treasured time spent with each of them. When Anita wasn't busy with her grandchildren her hobbies included working in her yard, quilting and canning.

Anita leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters: Debbie Holland and husband Phillip of Mansfield, Arkansas and Carla Harrison and husband Danny of Waldron, Arkansas, one son Jim Jeffery and wife Beverly of Mansfield, Arkansas. Granny Nita will forever be missed by her five grandchildren: Jeremy Holland, Jessica Thurman, Shawna Harrison, Marcus Jeffery and Souphaphone Fowler, as well as her five great grandchildren: Gavin Holland, Drew Holland, Braxton Thurman, Kaitlyn Thurman and Kahlan Fowler. Anita is also survived by two sisters: Gwenda Jones and Judy Renteria both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and two brothers, Bob Lewis of Waldron, Arkansas and Charles Lewis of Haughton, Louisiana. Anita will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives were impacted by her including a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and loved ones.

Anita is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jeffery Sr., one son, Charles Jeffery Jr., one granddaughter, Kim Taff, one sister, Sara Hutchison and two brothers, Bert Lewis and Jack Lewis.

Anita's life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2013 at the Waldron First Assembly of God Church in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Donnie Wagner and Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery in Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Anita's pallbearers will be Robert Lewis, Chris Carnahan, Jeremy Holland, Marcus Jeffery, Cody Fowler, Bruce Owens and Bobby Owens. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Carter, Nurses and CNA's of Waldron Nursing Center.

Anita's visitation will be Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas where Anita's family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
