Mike ended his year long battle with complications following extensive cancer surgery. He died at 10 PM on July 9th, battling to the end, surrounded by family at Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento. Mike was born at the USAF Base Hospital in Big Springs, Texas on October 13th, 1956. He grew up in an Air Force family. Cheerful and outgoing, Mike was always the first one in the family to meet and befriend new neighbors & schoolmates. A carpenter after he finished high school, he went on to become a home designer & builder, earning his Associates Degree in architecture from Sierra College, Rocklin, Ca. He is survived by his wife Irene; sons Daniel, Steven, and grandson Anderson, who live in Greenstone, Ca; his sister Audrey Solino lives in North Highlands, Ca; Mom and Dad, Fred and Nancy St. Jean reside in El Dorado Hills, Ca. Graveside services will be held at the Green Valley Cemetery located at 3004 Alexandrite Drive, Rescue, Ca, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16th. Reception follows at the St. Jean residence, 1070 Brookline Circle, El Dorado Hills.
