He was born on Aug. 18, 1931, in Rochester, the son of John and Lena Rigazio. He married Joan Evelyn Ward of Portland ME on Nov. 30, 1957. They had five children together and he leaves seven grandchildren upon his passing. He also leaves one surviving sister, June Tanguay of Somersworth.
Although he said he had a poor way of showing it, he loved his family and he loved his country.
Mr. Rigazio said, "May I finally rest in peace. Paul Anka wrote the song 'My Way,' and Frank Sinatra sang it. But I lived it."
