MICHELLE BENNETT HANSON PLAYED PIANO AND ORGAN BY EAR
Michelle Jeanne Bennett Dubord Hanson, 29, formerly of Jefferson, died Wednesday at the Kennebec Valley Medical Center after a long illness.

She was born in Damariscotta, the daughter of Cyrus Eden and Evelyn Margie Bosworth Bennett.

She attended schools in Jefferson and also attended Lincoln Academy in Newcastle. She later received her GED. Michelle enjoyed writing poetry and had one of her poems published. She loved music and played the piano and organ by ear.

Survivors include a son, Travis Dubord of Litchfield; her parents of Jefferson; two sisters, Sharon Park of Clinton and Christine Rolfe of Farmingdale; a brother, Michael Bennett of South Bristol; a half-sister, Pauline Bennett of Freeport; and two half-brothers, Wendell Bennett of Boothbay Harbor and David Winslow of Warren.

Graveside funeral and committal prayers will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hopkins Cemetery, Route 215, South Jefferson, with the Rev. Winifred Reynolds officiating. Arrangements by Gray & Pratt Funeral Home, Windsor Neck Road, Windsor.
