Charles Basham, 88, of Davenport, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008 at his home.
Born Feb. 11 1920, in Rocky Island, Ill. he was the son of Lawrence and Maude Lane Basham. On Nov. 12, 1982, he married Mary Smith in Hammond, Ind.
Survivors include his loving caretaker, Mary; two daughters, Anita Adler of Burlington and DiAnn Brown of Fowler, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one son, one daughter, and two grandchildren.
