Mrs. Pegram was the daughter of Brian and Ada Vaughn of Duncan, SC. She was the widow of the late James Howard Pegram.
Mrs. Pegram served as a home-daycare-provider for generations of clients and was the oldest member of the First Baptist Church in Duncan. She had Macular degeneration and could barely see, but she loved having the Bible read to her! Mrs. Daisy loved to get her hair "set" every week! She loved her neighbors and friends from Duncan!
Survivors include three sons and daughter-in-laws, Randall and Jane Pegram and Roy and Erin Pegram, both of Florida. She resided since Thanksgiving 2008 with her youngest son, Mark, and his wife, Carol Pegram of Hubert, North Carolina and their children, Crystal, Deborah, James, and Daisy. She has 11 grand kids. Dana Haen, Chris Pegram, Julie Letchinger, Laurie Fowler, Matthew Pegram, Riley Pegram, and Evan Pegram. She has 7 great-grand kids. Megan Haen, Payton Haen, Bryce Pegram, Logan Fowler, Carter Fowler, Abbey Fowler, and Jackson Pegram. She has 2 nieces. Kaye Ruppe and Debbie Tapp.
She is pre-deceased by a sister, Edna, and six brothers, Brian, Fred, Roy, Clarence, Herman, and Herald.
Services were held Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at The Wood Memorial Park with the Rev. Jerry Ruppe, nephew of the deceased, officiating. Interment followed the graveside service.
