SHELBY - Bobby Gerald Black, 65, passed away July 8, 2013, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
A native of Cleveland County, he was born Nov. 2, 1947, to Paul and Lucille Lemmons Black.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, May Lemmons and a niece, Linda Morehead.
Mr. Black loved flowers and working in the yard.
He worked and later retired from Lily Mills after 30 years of service.
He attended Second Baptist Church.
