Funeral Services for Allen Dee Johnson Grappe will be held Monday August 14, 2006 at 11 A.M. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. with Rev. Wayne Morrow officiating. Visitation will be Sunday August 13, 2006 from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Blanchard-St. Denis. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Grappe, age 92, of Natchitoches, La., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 12, 2006. She was born in Colfax, LA. on September 11, 1913 to Clarence and Connie Johnson. She was a long time member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 13 and of Trinity Baptist Church both in Natchitoches. She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Sam Grappe ; five sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her two daughters, Carol Deloney and husband Francis of Natchitoches, La. and Hilda Durr and husband Wayne of Lake Charles, La. ; six grandchildren, Wayne Durr Jr. , Michael Durr, Varina Durr Boudreaux, DeWayne Deloney, Mark Deloney and Kristi Deloney Martin ; thirteen great-grandchildren ; Alissa Durr, Ryan Durr, Kevin Durr, Jordan Boudreaux, Mason Boudreaux, Tiffany Deloney, Whitney Deloney, Hailey Deloney, Holly Deloney, Hannah Deloney, Hillary Deloney Severin, Brandi Martin and Hunter Martin Pallbearers will be Wayne Durr Jr., Michael Durr, DeWayne Deloney, Mark Deloney, Hunter Martin and Chris Howard. The family would like to thank the staff of the Long Term Care Center for the loving care they provided.
