Mrs. Minnie Lindsay, a well known and highly respected resident of Charleroi died at her home 503 Seventh street yesterday morning after an illness covering a period of nearly a year. Mrs. Lindsay and her husband, Theodore, who survives her, came to Charleroi from Bellwood, PA, about thirty years ago and has since been a resident of the city. Her departure is mourned by a large circle of friends in the valley.
Mrs. Lindsay was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was active in its various organization. Prior to her illness she was the teacher of the Dorcas Bible Class and for several years served as the president of the Women's Foreign Missionary Society.
Funeral services will be held at the home this evening at 7:45 Rev. J. E. Morrison of the Methodist Episcopal church will officiate. The interment will be conducted at Bellwood on Sunday.
