Chloe Oliver Jones

The sweetest of spirits left us today. Chloe Oliver Jones died March 22, 1999.

She was born August 17, 1919 to Zina Huegley and Joseph S. Oliver. She grew up in East Millcreek with her fun and loving family. Chloe married John Wyatt Jones March 21, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A faithful member of the LDS Church, she served in many leadership positions throughout her life. Chloe lived from her heart finding joy in giving service and unconditional love. Age or illness did not diminish her wonderful sense of humor, the twinkle in her eyes or her beautiful smile.

Chloe is survived by her children; John O. Jones (Mary), Gordon Jones (Vicki), Ricy Jones (Tami), Shirley Iverson, Debra Healy (Gary), Kim Wilcox (Ron). Sixteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Brothers; Marv Oliver, Richard Oliver (Marlene). Sister; Emma Featherstone (Jim). Preceded in death by; Husband, daughter; Barbara Burgess. Brothers; Samuel Oliver and Allen Oliver, sisters; Dorthy Emery and Lavelle Jones.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 25, 1999, 11 a.m., at the Bennion East Stake Center, 5980 So. 1300 West, where friends may call Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment: Murray City Cemetery. Much love and thanks to their friends and family at the Golden Living Center. To live in the hearts of those we leave behind is not to die.
