A visitation will be held on Thursday September 23, 2010 from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm at D. W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel, 6600 Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri.
Funeral services will follow at the chapel at 2:30 pm.
Ruth was the daughter of Walter Stone, and Mary Violet Sweeny. She married Joseph Howard Tomlinson, then later married Harold Tomlinson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; a son, Howard; brothers, Kenneth and John (Jackie); and sisters, Myrtle, Helen and Dorothy.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Knoblauch; sisters, Mary Phelps, and her twin sister, Ruby Phelps; and brother, Charles Edward Stone; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews." The Kansas City Star, September 21, 2010
