LA VERNE BREITZMAN
LaVerne I. Breitzman, 80, formerly of Kiel, died Sunday afternoon, December 15, at Bethel Home, Oshkosh, where she was a resident for the past years.
She was born July 16, 1911, at Plymouth, daughter of the late Emil and Clara Freimund Breitzman. She was employed with her parents as a cook and baker at the former Kiel Coffee Shop for many years. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel and the Christian Mothers Society.
Survivors include one brother, Gilbert (Edith) Breitzman of Garden Grove, California; one sister, Janet (Hubert) Jaschob of N. Fort Myers, Florida; three nephews, two nieces, and one sister-in-law, Phyliss Breitzman. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara, step-father, William Reinboldt, one brother, Kenneth Breitzman and two nephews.
Funeral service was held at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas Leannah, pastor of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
