William Fred Behrendt, 81
William Fred Behrendt, 81, former farmer of the Herman vicinity passed away at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska on Tuesday, December 17. He had been in ill health for many months.
Mr. Behrendt was born on March 1, 1882 at Omaha, Nebraska. At the age of one year, he with his parents and sister, moved to a farm west of Herman.
On December 24, 1906 he was married to Ida Caroline Kubie. They lived on a farm west of Herman until retiring to Fremont, Nebraska where Mrs. Behrendt passed away on January 12, 1949.
Surviving Mr. Behrendt are two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Pearl) Gaukel of Omaha, Nebraska, Mrs. Viggo (Lola) Kruse of Loveland, Colorado and one son, Curtis Behrendt of Herman and three grand-children, Linda and Jeffrey Behrendt and Duane Kruse.
Funeral services are to be held at the Bendorf Funeral Home at Blair, Nebraska at 2:00 P.M. Friday with Rev. Royal Peter son of Omaha officiating. Burial is to be in the Blair Cemetery.
