Agnes Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Age 103, of Elmira, NY, died on Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at Elcor Health Services. She was born in Williamsport, PA on October 20, 1902 to the late William and Catherine (Belhoer) Blitz. Agnes was predeceased by her husband, George R. Smith Sr.' son, George R. Smith Jr.; sister, Mary Callahan; brothers, Joseph and Valentine Blitz; and grandson, Jamie Stormer. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Stormer of PA; cherished granddaughter, Elizabeth Silva of FL; daughter-in-law, Eileen Smith of FL; grandson, James Smith of FL; loving niece, Ruth Buchholz; great-nephew, Fred Buchholz Jr.; great-nieces, Candice Williams and Cheryl DeGraw; several great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Agnes, We love you and will miss you. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, July 3rd, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in Sts. Peter & Paul Church, with Reverend Walter Wainwright as Celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Boniface Cemetery in Williamsport, PA at the convenience of the family.
