GARY --- Erilda Dease, 59, died Nov. 22, in Gary Methodist Hospital. She had been in Failing health for the past two years.
A former resident of Winamac, she had resided here for the last 15 years. She was born Aug. 14, 1923, in Crandon, Wisc., the daughter of John Samuel and Esther Kristine Wagberg Stamper. She married Clarence Eugene Dease on Oct. 23, 1948, in Milwaukee, Wisc., who preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1970.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: one daughter, Erna Summers, Valparaiso; three sons, Clark and Donald of Gary and Raymond of Hermosa Beach, Calif.; her father, John Stamper, Winamac; three sisters, Evelyn Kain, Griffith, Eleanor Crissinger, Hanover Park, Ill. and Sandra Jenkins, Winamac; five brothers, John E. Stamper, Griffith, Howard Stamper, Dyer, Donald Stamper, Walter Stamper and Jesse R. Stamper, all of Winamac; three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Nov. 24 in Frain Mortuary with Rev. Steve Gladding officiating. Burial was in the Winamac Cemetery.
