HOWARD WILLIAM JONES, 66, of Route 4, Hagerstown, died at his home Saturday. Born in Hagerstown, he was the son of Richard E. and Anna E. Mayer Jones.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Hagerstown, the Maugansville Fire Company, Washingon County Fire Police, the Washington County Fire Association and the Fairchild Retirees Association. He was employed by Fairchild for 19 years. He retired in 1970.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen M. Stouffer Jones, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Nancy A. Molnar of Silver Spring; two sons, Jack E. Jones of Newcastle, Del., and Lewis C. Jones of Frazeysburg, Ohio; two sisters, Miss Hilda E. Jones of Buckeystown, MD., and Mrs. Alta Ruth of Hagerstown; four brothers, Benjamin R. Jones of Waynesboro, Pa., Walter G. Jones of Baltimore, Frederick Jones of Middletown, Ohio, and Donald M. Jones of Virginia; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral services were held at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel; burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery.
