Milton D. Self, 75, Birmingham Route 15, died Saturday. He was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County and a retired Coal Miner. He was a Mason, a member of the Odd Fellows and Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Funeral will be at 1 pm Monday at Bell Crumly Chapel with burial in Bethel Cemetery near Bradford. Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Self, six sons, Elzie D. Self, Sandusky, Milford D. Self, Greensboro, NC, Roy C. Self and Don Wayne Self, both of Kimberly, C.Y. Self, Decatur, and C.D. Self, Minor; a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Little, Forestdale; and two sisters, Mrs. Vada Russell, Cullman and Mrs. Cora Lee, Kansas.
