In March 1890, George Russell Golladay married first wife Theresa Benton Brill in Fort Valley, Shenandoah County, VA. Into this union 1 daughter was born, Maude Odeal (Golladay) Sheetz. Theresa passed away in December 1896.
On 12 October 1904, George subsequently married second wife Clara M. Kibler in Fort Valley. Into this union his second daughter, Bessie May Lucile Golladay was born.
