She was born July 28, 1871, in Sand Ridge Township in Jackson County, the daughter of Daniel Will and Lorena Whitson Worthen.
Miss Worthen was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Ft. Worth.
She leaves a step-sister, Mrs. Maude Graham of St. Louis, Mo.; a half-brother, C. E. Manken of Denver, Colo.: and a step-brother, Leonard Manken of Gorham.
One step-brother, George Manken, and a sister, Mrs. Mae W. Parrish, both preceded her in death.
