Miss Carrie Worthen, 92, a retired school teacher, died early today at the home of her nephew, John Manken, in Gorham.

Miss Worthen had been a resident of Ft. Worth, Tex., most of her life. She had been living in the Gorham area about six years.

She was born July 28, 1871, in Sand Ridge Township in Jackson County, the daughter of Daniel Will and Lorena Whitson Worthen.

Miss Worthen was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Ft. Worth.

She leaves a step-sister, Mrs. Maude Graham of St. Louis, Mo.; a half-brother, C. E. Manken of Denver, Colo.: and a step-brother, Leonard Manken of Gorham.

One step-brother, George Manken, and a sister, Mrs. Mae W. Parrish, both preceded her in death.
