Ivan A. Hiatt 99, a lifelong Frankfort resident, passed away at 11:46 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the Wesley Manor Health Care Center in Frankfort, IN, where he had lived since 2010.
Born June 7, 1914 in Rossville, IN to Edwin G. & Minnie Alice (Tripp) Hiatt.
He married Anna G. Wainscott on September 6, 1934, and they were married over 75 years when she died on October 8, 2010.
Mr. Hiatt was retired after Owning and Operating Hiatt Refrigeration for 40 years.
He attended Frankfort High School and had training in Chicago for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
He was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Frankfort since 1941.
Ivan was instrumental in starting the Combination Club, a lunch club that met daily in various restaurants around Frankfort, for over 50 years.
