On Monday, January 9, 1956, a baby girl was born in Markham, Matagorda Co. TX. She was the baby girl of four siblings; two devoted sisters, JoAnn Fisher of Pearland, Dloris Barnes of San Antonio; and baby brother, George Fisher Jr. of Pearland born to George Fisher Sr. and Sophronia Brown. Her name was Diana Rae Fisher. She also has two older devoted siblings; John Wayne of Bay City and DeLorian Jones "Losha" of Houston.
She grew up in a rural community, raised by her Grandmother Phoebe and her father, George Sr., due to the passing of her mother at an early age. She accepted Christ at an early age as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. She was the mother of four children, two boys (By*** and Br*****) and two girls (Dem***** and LaT****). Diana's troubled youth escalated throughout the years into adulthood and she ended like so many in the area with an addiction and found herself unable to get the help she needed for years. She tried to correct the problems of her youth with love for her children and family. It was not until she decided to deal with the painful shocking death of losing her mother at a young age and other adolescent experiences growing up that she succeeded in overcoming her addiction before her death. Diana (Diane) Fisher, 57, of Markham TX, answered the call to her eternal home July 1, 2013, on hospice in Houston, TX. after a battle with cancer. She was met on the other side of glory by her parents and grandparents.
She leaves to cherish many precious memories to her beloved sisters and brothers; her four children and friends.
