The funeral of Mrs. Caroline Palemske (sic), one of the oldest residents of Wabaunsee county, was held at her home at Alma, Kan., yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. She was 78 years old. She came to the United States from Germany in 1854. In 1855 Mrs. Palemske (sic) came to Kansas and settled in Wabaunsee county, near Alma, where she has since made her home. She is survived by four sons and one daughter.
