The Rev. Dr. Randall Ray Lee, 56, Wisconsin Rapids, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.

Funeral services will be at Noon on Monday July 9, at First English Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Joshua R. and Rev. Jennifer Fite will officiate.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday and from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Monday at the church. Christian burial will be on Tuesday at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh.

Randy was born January 13, 1956, in Wisconsin Rapids to Raymond M. and Marilyn L. (Boycks) Lee.

He received his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Master of Sacred Theology (S.T.M.) from Seminex in Saint Louis, Missouri. He then studied at the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago, Illinois where he earned his Doctorate in Systematic Theology (STD).

Randy was ordained into the ministry of the Lutheran Church in America at Zion Lutheran Church in Wausau. He served as a pastor at the Church of St. Luke in Chicago and Grace Lutheran Church in Evanston, Ill., before becoming the Director of Ecumenical Affairs and Inter-Religious Relations for the office of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

He was a devoted servant and leader of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and was committed to the visible unity of the Body of Christ. He served the church with theological wisdom, gracious hospitality, and evangelical perseverance.

Randy is survived by his parents, Raymond and Marilyn Lee of Wisconsin Rapids and an aunt, Marion Sullivan of Waterford; and many friends and church family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and uncles, Robert E. Lee, Edward C. Boycks, and Gerald B. Boycks.
