Jennie was married to Daniel Frederick Foster, Sr. on Oct 12, 1869 in Canada. Five children were born to this union: Daniel Jr., John Stewart, Edwin Albert, Melissa Jane and Myrtle Daisy. All the children were born in Canada but Myrtle who was born in Wisconsin.

Mrs. Jennie Foster aged 77, died Wednesday noon of heart failure at the home of her son Daniel Foster, Jr., in Keystone. Her husband the late Daniel Foster, Sr., preceded her in death about four years ago. She has resided in the town of Cleveland for the past 40 years, coming from eastern Canada.
Surviving are three sons and one daughter as follows: Daniel and John Foster of Keystone and Edward Foster of Eagle Point, and Mrs. Lon Yeakey of Keystone. Other surviving relatives reside in eastern Canada.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the Congregational church in Keystone with interment in Forest Hill cemetery.
