Gerald Burr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Burr of Clayton, was invested in the Society of the Divine Word last Thursday at St. Mary's Mission House in Techny, Illinois. He now will be known as Brother Bruno, S.V.D.
Among the relatives and friends attending the ceremonies were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Burr of Osterdock, Miss Lois DeSotel of Garnavillo, Claudia Albrecht of Dubuque, Maurice Burr of Iowa City, and Mrs. Jack Vorwald and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Burr of Clayton.
