The first person buried at Lee's Summit Cemetery, he rode with Quantrill and surrendered at Liberty, Missouri on May 28, 1865 with four other guerrillas. He was involved in the Russellville, Kentucky bank robbery on March 20, 1868 and was killed the following April by a vigilante committee looking for the bank robbers.Married 2 FEB 1860 in Jackson Co., MO to Mary Jane Vance.
