DANVILLE — Bernice B. Hagenbuch, 85, of Narehood Road, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013, at her home.

She was born April 19, 1928, in Berwick, a daughter of the late Owen and Roxie (Applegate) Bennett. On Dec. 19, 1958, she married Joseph J. Hagenbuch, who survives. They celebrated 52 years of marriage.

Bernice worked at Roselon Yarns, Danville, for many years as a bobbin twister.

She was a member of Trinity Oak Grove Lutheran Church.

Bernice enjoyed baking, bingo, cards, crafts, yard sales and making yarn dish cloths.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa L. and Neil Hess, of Danville, and Lisa H. and Andrew Jones, of Danville; two sisters, Anna Mae Hashagen, of Delaware City, Del., and Marian Reichenbach, of Potts Grove; and four grandchildren, Kelsey Hess, Mallory Jones, MacKenzie Jones and Katie Hess.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Kinney, in 2003.

Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in Trinity Oak Grove Lutheran Church, 130 Hagenbuch Loop Road, Danville, followed by a memorial service at 11 with her pastor, the Rev. L. Keith Pittsnogle, officiating.

Burial will follow a luncheon at the church in Columbia Hill Cemetery, Danville.

The family suggests contributions in Bernice's memory be made to Trinity Oak Grove Lutheran Church, 130 Hagenbuch Loop Road, Danville, PA 17821.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville.
