"Sarah Hopkins
Sarah Hopkins died at her home about two miles north of Laurens village on Saturday, April 24th. She had been a gret [sic] sufferer for a long time having tuberculosis, and was for several months cared for at the Sanitarium and after her return home gradually failed until the end came. She was the wife of David Hopkins and sixty-four years of age. The funeral was held on Monday with burial at Morris.—Our Laurens Reporter."
