Christopher Lee Marshall, age 40 of Muskegon, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at his home in Muskegon. Chris was born on July 29, 1972 in Fremont to Roger and Sandy (Gardenour) Marshall and graduated from Fremont High School in 1990 and graduated in June 2013 from Baker College with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and Security. Chris was working at Advanced Tooling Systems in Grand Rapids where he was currently a programmer. Chris enjoyed listening to music, attending concerts and watching movies and spending time with his friends. He especially treasured time spent with family at family gatherings and his nieces and nephews.

Chris is survived by his father, Roger (Traci) Marshall of Newaygo; his mother, Sandy Spradlin of Fremont; his sisters, Tricia Marshall (Jeremy Siegers) of Twin Lake; Liz Luchies of Fremont; his brothers, Arron (Devin) Marshall of Grand Rapids; Cameron Ackerman of Fremont. Chris will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Alyssa and Alec Millis; Joel and Evan Luchies; and Sylas Marshall; his maternal grandmother, Donna Gardenour of Fremont; along with his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Chris was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leroy Marshall in 1984; maternal grandfather, Dan Gardenour in 2010; and paternal grandmother, Ruth Dankowski in 2012.
