FUNERAL SERVICES SET ON TUESDAY, JULY 28TH
LANGWORTHY….Gerd Prull, 87, Langworthy, died Friday, July 24, at his home in Langworthy.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 28, at 11 a.m., at Wayne Zion Evangelical Lutheran church, Wayne. Rev. J.P. Willms, Monticello will conduct the service. Burial will be in Wayne cemetery.
Life Outlined
He was born Jan. 30, 1877, son of Eilert Prull and Engelena Rickels Prull, Mary Ostfriesland, Germany. He came to the United States in 1903.
He was married to Annchen Reuter on Feb. 23, 1909. He had lived his married life in Langworthy. He was associated with Prull Brothers Lumber Co., Langworthy, from 1920 until 1946, when the late Erice Owen bought into the business. He retired from carpentry work in 1946.
Survivors Listed
Survivors include three daughters, Esther, Mrs. Art Riedel, Langworthy; Mrs. Gertrude Owen, Anamosa; Mrs. Marvin Jansen Monticello; one brother, John Prull, Monticello; one sister, Mrs. Anna Dierks, Monticello; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1954; five brothers and one sister.
