Coroner Says No Inquest in Death Of Noxon Woman.

Plains, July 1. While her husband was doing the chores on their farm near Noxon, Mrs. Louise Griffin Mann, 33, ended her own life last evening in an outbuilding, firing a .22 caliber rifle bullet through her heart. Undersheriff Howard R. Larson of Thompson Falls said today.

Mrs. Mann told her two sons, Dale, 4, and Dean, 6, that she was going to go away, and to "be good boys," and then left the house shortly after 8 o'clock last night, the undersheriff said.

Mrs. Mann was born March 5, 1909, at Decatur, Ill., and had lived in the Bull River community north of Noxon for four years. She is survived by her husband, George R[ay] Mann, and the two sons.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Community church in Noxon, with Rev. Emile F. Mignery of Thompson Falls officiating.--The Daily Missoulian (Missoula, MT), Thursday, July 2, 1942
