Mrs Nora Cleary Sheehy, wife of John Sheehy of Merritt Ave, died last Saturday morning, age 70 years. She had been sick with pneumonia, but had recovered, and then had a relapse and died very suddenly. Mrs Sheehy was born in Ireland and came here as a young girl. In 1880 she married John Sheehy at Amenia. Later they moved to Millbrook and bought the house built by Daniel Griffin on Merritt Avenue, and they have lived there ever since. Four children were born to the union, three having passed beyond and leaving one, Mrs. Ray Rogers. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her loss her daughter and eight grandchildren.
