Chester Parson Alldredge, 78 of Orem, passed away September 30, 1999, surrounded by his family at the American Fork Hospital.

He died of complications from pneumonia. He was born November 6, 1920, in Crescent, Utah to Ruel LeRoy and Ida Jaynes Alldredge. He married Marjorie Hamnett in Salt Lake City, Utah. They later divorced. He married Camille Crandall in Elko, Nevada on May 25, 1964.He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Chester worked for Geneva Steel in the Open Hearth, retiring in November of 1979. He served on the Alpine City Council and was a little league baseball coach for many years. He was an avid baseball fan and he also loved to dance.

Chester is survived by his wife, Camille, Orem; three sons and two daughters, Linda Alldredge, Salt Lake City, Utah; Joyce A. Hall (Joel), Pleasant Grove, Utah; Douglas J. Alldredge (Joy), Alpine, Utah; David A. Alldredge (Laura), Salt Lake City, Utah; Adrian D. Alldredge (Carla), Lehi, Utah; brothers and sisters, Fred D. Alldredge, St. George; LaRue Hallstrom, Melba Busby, Fern Gates, Minor Alldredge, Dorothy A. Erickson, Del Alldredge all of Salt Lake City, Utah. He was preceded in death by Ruby Alldredge, Phil Alldredge and Elaine Ray.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 4, 1999, at 12 noon in the Aspen 2nd Ward Chapel, 1485 North 800 West, Orem, Utah. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem and at the Church on Monday from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to service. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
