She was born November 30, 1919 in Palestine, to John Thomas and Lillie Izetta McCann Lipscomb. Mrs. Ives was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Forrest Ives; and daughter, Janice Ives. She is survived by daughters, Shirley McMurrey of Marana, AZ., Karen Fitzgerald of Palestine, and Janet Lambright Bridge of Houston; son, Mark Ives of Lufkin; sister, Marie Malone of Buffalo; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
