The son of Marsh and Grace (Richter) Knopsnyder, he was born August 9, 1931, in Salt Lick Township, Fayette Co.
Ken was a veteran of the Korean War. He had been employed for many years at the Robertshaw Control Co., from where he also retired. In his free time, Ken enjoyed gardening and stamp collecting. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.
Surviving are his children, Wayne Knopsnyder and his wife Alisa, Elkhart, IN., Debra Montgomery and her husband Dennis, all of Indiana, Marsha Henry and husband William, Homer City, Kimberly Knopsnyder, Sarver; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Garnet Kikta and husband Vincent, MD; nephew, Mark Kikta with his wife Kathy; and a niece, Michelle Kikta, all of MD.
Preceding Ken in death were his parents; two infant brothers; and a sister, Helen Bundorf.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 am in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Robert White, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery with military rites provided by VFW Post 1989.
